"Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders: Building Skills, Confidence, and Vision Today!"

Ma Teresa Charity Foundation, Inc. hosted a pivotal Leadership Training session on September 7-8, 2024 for the newly elected officers of the Scholars for the 2024-2025 academic year. This training was more than a mere formality; it was a transformative experience designed to shape the future of leadership within our community.

Leadership transcends titles and designations; it is fundamentally about impact, influence, and the ability to inspire others. True leaders don't merely create followers—they cultivate new leaders along their journey. With this ethos in mind, the training aimed to instill a vision of leadership grounded in ethical principles and forward-thinking strategies.

The session focused on five key areas:
M - Mental Alertness. This emphasis on mental acuity prepared them to tackle challenges with clarity and precision. Participants engaged in exercises and activities designed to sharpen their focus, enhance their decision-making abilities, and bolster their problem-solving skills.
T - Talent. Through workshops and interactive sessions, we encouraged them to harness their individual talents and leverage these skills for the collective benefit of their peers and the Foundation.
C - Christian Center. We emphasized ethical leadership rooted in Christian principles, guiding the scholars to lead with integrity, compassion, and a strong moral compass.
F- Fitness. Participants engaged in physical activities and wellness sessions that promoted a healthy lifestyle, demonstrating how physical fitness contributes to overall leadership effectiveness and resilience.
I - Innovations. We encouraged the scholars to think outside the box, fostering a culture of innovation that will drive future progress and adapt to evolving challenges.

These highlights captured the essence of our journey, showcasing the moments that defined our commitment to shaping empowered, responsible, and visionary leaders for the Ma Teresa Charity Foundation, Inc.

The training featured insightful sessions led by esteemed speakers:
               Harold A. Pagad - Volunteer
                   Alfe G. Jardinico - Volunteer
                  Jake G. Clavel - Volunteer
Their contributions provided valuable perspectives and guidance, enriching the overall experience for all attendees.

A special thank you is extended to Rev. Fr. Jay-ar Gidayawan (“Toto Jay-ar”), Mission Station Priest-in-charge at Mary Star of the Sea - San Isidro Labrador - Ermita Center Chapel, Diocese of San Carlos, for his support and blessings throughout the event.

This Leadership Training marked a significant step in shaping our future leaders, preparing them to lead with vision, responsibility, and integrity in the year ahead.

Thank you and we look forward to an impactful leadership this school year. PADAYON! 💪
